Canada Day Celebration at Tom Thomson Park

Parade - 1:00pm Parade begins at the South River train station and travels east along Ottawa Ave ending at the west pedestrian entrance to Tom Thomson Park. Enjoy a walk through this gorgeous park or drive to the east entrance to join the fun. Following arrival are these fun events!; 1:30 PM: Parade arrives at the park followed by a performance by Callander Pipes and Drums. 2:00 PM: The Official Opening of the Canada Day Events 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Live Entertainment (Jaycee King band & James Vanmere), BBQ, Beer Tent, Face Painting, Pie eating Contest and a variety of Vendors. Try your hand at Disc Golf with the Algonquin Disc Golf Club while in the Park and more!
