Chainsaw Safety Course

Understanding the saw’s safety features and function is the first step in proper chainsaw operation and risk reduction.  Learn how to safely operate a chainsaw with hands-on instruction and certification.  The one day course is offered at Near North Log Homes, 38 Rye Rd. will help participants learn to select the right saw for the job, ensure that all of the saw’s safety features are functioning, and review the basics of chainsaw maintenance.
