Cross the Lake Swim 2023

Swim across Lake Bernard - the world's largest freshwater lake without an island. Come join us for some friendship and fitness! About this Event 7:30am start for 2km swim from Checkerboard Beach 8:00am start for 1km swim from Union Street Beach Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your swim start time. Both swims finish at the Town Dock. Note: If there is rain on the morning of Saturday, August 14, we will notify you and postpone the event to Sunday, August 15. Special Notes: Each swimmer will need an accompanying paddler in a kayak or canoe (sorry – no motorized boats/jet skis!). All are welcome to swim – who have open water swimming experience – it’s about fitness and fun! Need an accompanying paddler?
