Tom Thomson Trail

This portage, from Kawawaymog Lake managed by Forgotten Trails terminates at Mary-Jane Lake. The trail is still being “re-discovered”. Basic orienteering skills and staunch determination are prerequisites for those hardy souls willing to walk in Tom Thomson’s` footsteps.

  • This portage trail from Kawawaymog Lake managed by Forgotten Trails terminates at Mary-Jane Lake. Recently reflagged for year round single track hiking access, the two km trail rewards adventurers willing to walk in Tom Thomson’s` footsteps with quiet solitude in the forest.

    There are wet boggy sections of trail in summer. Hiking boots suggested.
